Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act
The Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act (HHFKA) is legislation intended to improve child nutrition across the country. One component of the Act is "Offer vs Serve", which allows students to decline some items in a meal and still allow that meal to be reimbursable to the school district. This helps to reduce food waste and still give students food they want to eat.
